What is the town of Missoula in Montana like?

Hey all. I've applied for an exchange to study zoology in The University of Montana next year. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the College or the town of Missoula itself was like, either from personal experience or things you have heard about it. Any helpful input would be great thanks!! = D
