Whys my conure biting my girlfriend?

We've had him for over a month and he's been really sweet to both of us, but for the last week he's tried to bite my girlfriend several times. My sister's owned him for a couple years before we adopted him. He's never ever tried to bite me, but he has tried to bite a couple other people. Why is he doing this, and why never to me?
