I want to buy a Husky and a GSD, and want to know if I should buy/raise separately or together.?

I am looking at buying both dogs, but I want to know if I should buy one first and train it, and then buy the other, or if I should get and train them both at the same time. I know they are both strong, smart breeds, and that they need lots of exercise and attention, but I'm interested in how the two would get along if I take different approaches to training/raising them.
