I'm interested in doing a biochemistry science fair project but need help writing it. any ideas?

I would like to see if i can put the amino acid chain from an aequorea victoria (jellyfish) into ecoli in order to see if the ecoli will produce the proteins from the jellyfish DNA chain. because ecoli is recombant...this should work. if it does, the ecoli will be fluorescent. i need an idea of how to exactly do this experiment. i really want some help with this because i think this project is got a solid base to it.
