Do "June Bugs" really bite?

What most people think of a biting is the pricking with their leg spurs. If you grab one with thumb and first finger on either side of the wings(closed) then touch your other arm with their feet it will feel like they are sticking you, It doesn't do any damage but feels funny. When they seem to be flying at you they are flying toward the light or the light reflecting from your face. So you can usually find all you want around porch lights.
