Will he ever want to be with me again? PLEASE HELP ! </3?

My boyfriend of one year and I broke up in April. Ever since, we have been talking and together but we never really went back out. We been through so much stuff and we were very close. He was my best friend and the feeling was mutual. Recently, we got in a fight and stopped talking. A week later, we started talking again but it was weird. As of right now, we don't talk and basically act like we don't know each other. Its very heartbreaking. He always promised me that we would always be friends because he didn't want to live without me but he just is a different person now. I know we are going to speak eventually because he wouldn't want us like this I just don't know when he will give in. What can I do to maybe speed the process up and have him miss me. The old him would come back and miss me but he is too caught up in his friends that he can't realize what he's doing to me. Please help :(
