Question for Stay at Home moms...how much do you do?

i just asked a question a few minutes ago and got blasted because my live-in boyfriend is being charged with child support from the state....well he is paying child support because he decided to keep the kids's MEDICAID from the state instead of getting insurance for them and he KNEW that they would ask him for support since the state is providing the MEDICAID.... so why does that make me a bad person since im a stay at home mom with a pre-schooler and a one year old...i work part time to pay for the gas i use to get to school 3 nights out the week so i work and go to school also and raise the children...i help out with some of the bills (water, phone, food) and am with the children 80% of my time. the boyfriend feels that since he pays out rent ($400) and the electricity(150) and cable (150) that he should be in control of all money and will not give me any for things that I or the children want or need. at any given time he has money in both savings and checking accounts..so am i a bad person for the child support thing even though he knew they were coming for him? also shouldnt i expect him to help me out with money and things because we decided that i would stay home and he knows i dont have any money? do you get money or gifts from your partner? are you able to buy the things you need? i am not greedy i just know that he could afford what i ask for he just doesnt want to give it to me...he only pays the bills he doesnt buy food, didnt provide any of the furniture it was all mine, doesnt buy the kids clothing etc that comes out of my pocket...what to do?
