2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Follow up brake question. Is there a test for ABS ECU and Hydraulic Control Unit?

I am getting NO self check failures. Brakes work "ok". New Master installed and bled correctly, including all calipers. Intermittent issue with brake pedal getting spongy and goes very low towards floor. Pumps back up and stays fine till occurs again.
