I'm ordering a band shirt. I'm a girl; should I get the mens or womens version?

I'd still go the women's version. I have lots of men's band t-shirts and they just don't fit right. I know what you mean about hating tight t-shirts though. Get a large women's if you want it looser, or wear a long-sleeved top underneath it to make it less revealing.
